The Cologne-Prague & Friends Meeting is a traditional meeting of scientists studying the Galactic centre and galactic nuclei in general. The main aim of the workshop is to bring people together to discuss not only their own work but also the currently unsolved problems in the field of galactic nuclei, suggest new approaches to these problems and their possible solutions. The main focus of the meeting for this year is the observational aspects of various populations indigenous to the innermost parsec of the Galactic centre.
The meeting in the year 2025 is jointly organized by the Astronomical Institute of Charles University, the Galactic centre research group at the Masaryk University, the Prague Relativistic Astrophysics Group of the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Galactic centre research group at the University of Cologne and the stellar populations and dynamics research group at the University of Bonn.
