We consider the first documented "Hoher List meeting" to be the starting point of the series of workshops which usually took place in the advent time even though this one was carried out already in October.
The series continued on and it's timing moved closer to Christmas.
There are various pieces of evidence that international meetings on dynamics of star clusters were organised during the advent time in these years, taking place at the Argelander Institute od Astronomy of the University of Bonn. They have been often connected to the Christmas dinner of the stellar dynamics group at the Institute, organised by Pavel Kroupa. Unfortunately, we do not have direct evidence, e.g. in the form of web pages.
There is a bit more direct evidence of meeting named after Sverre Aarseth occuring this year. The link from the refering page, however, is not valid any longer. For some historicians, this was the year of the first Sverre Aarseth N-body meeting, nevertheless, relation to the far history of the Hoher List meetings is being often mentioned.

Even though the online documentation disappears again, there is sufficient amount of evidence (including photography) and unusually fresh memories of Ladislav Šubr (suffering from pneumonia and awaiting soon birth of his "little princess") that Sverre Aarseth N-body meeting took place in Bonn again.
This year, the Prague N-body Group grab the organisation of the traditional meeting which, for the first time, did not occur under the shelter of the University of Bonn. Due to somewhat unclear history and, therefore, the numbering of the meetings, we called this one the "Mth Aarseth N-body meeting" with M being an unknown variable.
The Prague line appeard to be viable and so it was followed once again...
The tradition with roots in Bonn remains, but the change of venue seems to be more than just occasional.
