The main aim of the workshop is to bring people together to talk about their work, discuss current problems and promote new ideas. The actual programme was fixed on the first days of the meeting. Anyone could bring up material they wanted to discuss, any topic on star clusters, the Galactic Centre or any other problems related to numerical dynamics were welcome.
In addition to the main programme of the workshop, Sverre Aarseth lectured a short course on N-body modelling for students of the Astronomical Institute of Charles University in the week before the workshop itself.
